Job summary

Pacific Palms Resort seeks a Security Officer to protect assets, ensure guest and staff safety, and enforce policies. The role requires patrolling, incident reporting, and active CCTV monitoring.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year prior security experience preferred.
• CPR & First Aid training required; Guard card a plus.
• Basic report writing and descriptive writing skills.
• Good knowledge of computer systems and customer service skills.
• Ability to work any shift including graveyard, weekends and holidays.
• Respond to PBX, emergency calls and customer service calls calmly.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report per BSIS guidelines and the State of California Business and Professions Code.
• Communicate with Security leadership on investigations and physical security within the Resort.
• Patrol property to ensure the safety of guests and employees and protect assets.
• Maintain comprehensive incident reports (DARs) with details and photos when needed.
• Effectively utilize CCTV and other security technologies throughout the Resort.
• Escort employees and guests to vehicles, rooms, and workstations as needed.
• Provide customer service to Resort guests while on duty.
