Position Details

Location: COLLEGE PARK, MD

Role: Unarmed Residential Patrol Officer

Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Friday 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sunday 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Responsibilities

1. Provide excellent customer service to residents and visitors, following security procedures and responding to emergencies.
2. Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations.
3. Conduct regular patrols to deter unwanted activity and identify concerns.
4. Maintain detailed records of activities and incidents.
5. Communicate professionally with residents, visitors, and staff.
6. Follow all post orders and site-specific instructions.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security experience.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card (preferred).
• Minimum age: 18 for unarmed, 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Licensing as per state/local laws; driver’s license for driving positions.
