Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Residential Mobile in Stamford, CT. You will patrol the property, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to tenants and visitors, while maintaining a visible presence around the site.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $20.48 / Hour. This role requires a valid driver’s license and a willingness to work overnight shifts in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license as required by policy.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen per policy.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors while following site procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, common areas, and parking facilities.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly, following site protocols.
• Monitor access points and report maintenance concerns and security issues to appropriate personnel.
• Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications as required.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Residential Mobile in Stamford, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and conduct routine patrols throughout a commercial real estate location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
