Job summary

Allied Universal in Stamford, CT is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to patrol, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service at a commercial real estate site.

You will work a rotating schedule including weekend shifts, with a focus on safety, reporting, and professional conduct in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, parking facilities, building entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with property policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
