Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly, following site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, documenting incidents and maintenance or security concerns.
• Assist with directing visitors and maintain a professional presence on the property.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.48 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, documenting incidents, patrols, and maintenance or security-related concerns in accordance with site requirements.
• Assist with directing visitors and responding to questions while maintaining a professional presence at the property.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
