Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Rehabilitation Facility in New York for a part-time role. You will provide unarmed security, deliver courteous service to residents, visitors and staff, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents.

Responsibilities include patrolling assigned areas, monitoring entrances, responding to alarms and emergencies, and documenting activities for site leadership.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare rehabilitation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, following established procedures for access control and reporting suspicious or unusual conditions.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
