Allied Universal in Irvine, CA is seeking a Security Officer for Residential Access Control. This full-time role includes mix shifts and an hourly pay rate of $25.00, focusing on protecting residents and visitors and delivering excellent service.

You will patrol, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and maintain logs while upholding the company’s standards of care, teamwork, and integrity in a welcoming residential community.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per federal, state, and local laws.
• Criminal history considered in accordance with laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Residential Access Control Full Time Unarmed Perimeter Patrol in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a residential community, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support residents and visitors with exceptional customer service. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to residential incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking locations, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
