The position requires a valid driver’s license and at least 6 months of security experience; a guard card and CPR/First Aid are preferred. Compensation is $22.25 per hour with a rotating schedule, base benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential community, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service to residents and visitors. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to resident concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, parking areas, common areas, entrances, and the surrounding property perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to deter unauthorized entry and reporting suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, resident and visitor inquiries, and emergency communications while maintaining a professional presence throughout the residential community.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
