Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies following established protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and directing visitors.
• Document observations and patrol activities per procedures.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, hospital policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying authorized access, and directing visitors to appropriate areas of the location.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet; preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
