Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Reception Security in Dallas, TX to greet visitors, manage access control, verify credentials, and respond to incidents at a commercial real estate location. You will support a professional, welcoming lobby, partner with tenants and staff, and help maintain security procedures. Position Type: Full Time.

Pay Rate: $17.98 / Hour. The role requires strong customer service, badge/access control experience, and the ability to work a 3:00 PM–11:00 PM

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge handling experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• State/city license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and employees at the front desk while following site security procedures.
• Greet and direct visitors, manage visitor records, issue credentials, and communicate arrival information to contacts.
• Monitor entry activity, access-control systems, cameras, alarms, and related equipment from the front desk; report unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with personnel and responders when needed.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs, visitor records, and incident documentation.

• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and employees at the front desk of a commercial real estate location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Greet and direct visitors, manage visitor access records, issue credentials or passes as applicable, and communicate arrival information to appropriate contacts.
• Monitor entry activity, access-control systems, cameras, alarms, and other security-related equipment from the front desk, reporting unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, tenant requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs, visitor records, and incident documentation while supporting a professional, welcoming lobby environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
