Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Reception Operations in Charlotte, NC to greet visitors, manage access control, and maintain a secure front desk presence at a commercial real estate location.

You will provide exceptional customer service to tenants and employees, monitor cameras and alarms, respond to incidents, and uphold Allied Universal’s people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 (unarmed) / 21+ (armed).
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen as allowed by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and employees at a commercial real estate location by following site-specific security procedures.
• Manage the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying ID/authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor records.
• Monitor access control systems, cameras, alarms, and communications equipment; report concerns per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly while following emergency protocols.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence, answer calls, direct guests and deliveries, and support a welcoming lobby environment.

As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Operations in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will help maintain a secure, professional environment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and employees at a commercial real estate location by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Manage the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor records.
• Monitor access control systems, cameras, alarms, and communications equipment; report unusual activity, access concerns, and equipment issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence, answer incoming calls, direct guests and deliveries, and support a welcoming, orderly lobby environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
