Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed Patrol) in Greensboro, NC. You will monitor and patrol commercial real estate, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to tenants and visitors.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, documenting activities, and maintaining a visible security presence. Must be 18+, HS diploma, background check, and drug screen as required.

• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial real estate buildings, parking areas, common areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site policies, and provide directions or assistance to occupants and guests.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.64 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
