Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer in Greensboro, NC. You will patrol unarmed at a commercial property, provide tenant and visitor service, monitor access points, and report incidents using site procedures and technology.

The role emphasizes customer service, reliability, and a professional presence, with a schedule that supports part-time availability. Training and growth opportunities are available within our agile security team.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property staff while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial property common areas, parking facilities, building perimeters, and assigned interior spaces.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and document activities according to site requirements.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
