Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Wendell, NC to protect clients across commercial real estate and related sites. You will patrol assigned areas, monitor access points, and provide exceptional service while upholding site policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following site policies and responding to incidents.
• Conduct regular patrols of common areas, perimeters, parking areas, and access points.
• Monitor access and report concerns per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to alarms and incidents, escalating as needed.
• Complete logs and reports with clear communication to supervision.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property management personnel by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property common areas, building perimeters, parking areas, and access points to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the property, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report access‑control concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
