Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Compliance Patrol in Whitsett, NC. You will protect client sites, monitor access points, and provide courteous service while using tablet tools to document activity.

This role offers a part-time schedule with early morning hours and weekend coverage, the chance to work with a dynamic team, and opportunities through our shift-claiming platform.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted per federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be needed per state/local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and document observations.
• Monitor entry points and visitor activity and assist with directing guests.
• Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports and handoffs.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Using computer or tablet tools as needed, you will support a welcoming environment while working collaboratively with Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative team and acting with integrity.

Pay Rate: $16.48 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You\'ll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols throughout the technology campus, office areas, parking facilities, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and security-related systems in accordance with site policies; assist with directing guests and supporting an orderly workplace environment.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoffs while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
