Job summary

SCIS is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to observe and report on activities at an assigned client site. You will patrol, monitor access, and enforce safety and security procedures, while maintaining a professional presence and reporting incidents accurately.

Essential duties include controlling entry, ensuring visitor compliance, and coordinating with client representatives to preserve order and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; related experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and follow safety procedures.
• Background checks and licensing requirements may be required.

Responsibilities

• Controls access to client site; screens visitors and employees to permit entry.
• Maintains a courteous, professional image of the client and security team.
• Monitors entrances/exits, patrols site, and enforces site rules and directions.
• Prepares logs and reports; documents incidents and observations.
• Responds to incidents (fire, medical, security) following established procedures.
