Job summary

SCIS is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to support client sites with access control, visitor screening, and safety enforcement. You will monitor entrances, patrol assigned areas, and respond to incidents to protect people and property.

The role requires clear communication, professional behavior, and the ability to write concise incident reports. Training and advancement opportunities are available within a supportive security team.

Responsibilities

• Controls access to the client site; screens visitors and employees; manages entry.
• Ensures a courteous, respectful, and safe interaction with all visitors and staff.
• Monitors entrances/exits and CCTV; enforces directions and safety rules.
• Patrols site to detect hazards, security violations, and unauthorized access.
• Prepares incident logs and reports with clear, standard grammar.
• Observes and reports incidents to clients and management as required.
• Responds to fires, medical emergencies, or other incidents following procedures.
