Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Patrol in Philadelphia, PA to monitor and protect client properties. You will perform unarmed patrols, maintain a visible security presence, and support access control while delivering courteous customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff.

This full-time role offers daytime evening shifts listed in the schedule; you will follow site procedures, document activities, and respond calmly

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel while carrying out site‑specific procedures and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, entrances, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with property policies, helping to maintain orderly entry and exit from the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate observed maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or security‑related issues to the appropriate personnel.
