Job summary

Allied Universal’s Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Badge Validation in Philadelphia, PA, will serve and safeguard clients across healthcare and other industries by patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting access control with professionalism.

You will document daily activities, respond calmly to incidents, help visitors and staff, and uphold Allied Universal’s standard of customer service, teamwork, integrity, and reliability every shift.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a healthcare manufacturing location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, documenting visitor activity and reporting access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and emergency response protocols.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicating observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
