Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Environmental Awareness in Philadelphia, PA. You will monitor and patrol designated areas, assist clients and visitors, deter security incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service to create a safe, welcoming environment for the communities and customers we serve.

This full-time role offers a competitive pay rate ($16.92/hour) and a schedule that includes day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and parking facility users by carrying out site-specific procedures, parking policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of parking areas, vehicle access points, pedestrian walkways, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to parking facilities and restricted areas, observe vehicle and pedestrian activity, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, requesting additional assistance when appropriate.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.
