Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol - Transit in Seattle, WA. This role focuses on visible patrols, passenger assistance, and incident response within a public transportation setting. Ideal candidates bring security experience, a High School diploma or equivalent, and relevant certifications such as CPR and First Aid.

A state license is preferred. The position offers a part-time schedule and hourly pay of $29.93, with opportunities to grow through our shift-claim

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Monitor access points and public areas, document observations and incidents accurately, and complete required reports in accordance with site procedures.
• Help maintain an orderly environment by providing directions, answering questions, and reporting maintenance, accessibility, or security-related concerns to designated personnel.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued Security Professional license is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
