Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for full-time unarmed mobile patrol in Seattle, WA. You will patrol a retail location, deter incidents, monitor access points, and provide courteous service while upholding safety procedures.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with guests and team members, report security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $23.74 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including entrances, customer areas, parking areas, and perimeter spaces.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain clear, accurate activity logs and incident reports while supporting a welcoming environment for customers and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
