Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) in Seattle, WA. You will serve and safeguard clients across multiple industries, maintaining a visible presence and assisting passengers, visitors, and employees with professionalism.

This role offers flexible scheduling, including the option to build a shift schedule using our Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transportation facilities, platforms, entrances, waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe conditions throughout the location, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and security-related policy violations.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation in accordance with site procedures.

Pay Rate: $22.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 05:15 AM - 01:45 PM
• Sun: 05:15 AM - 01:45 PM

What You'll Do:
