• Respond to incidents and service calls in a calm, professional manner and coordinate with transit personnel and responders as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of assigned transit areas to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a welcoming environment for the public.
• Document incidents and activities accurately in accordance with reporting procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Monitor transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, and surrounding property for unusual activity, unauthorized access, hazards, and/or policy violations; report observations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting transit personnel, emergency responders, and/or supervisors as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned transit areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a welcoming environment for the public.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
