Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Compliance in Saint Louis, MO to protect clients across Retail/Malls and other sites. The role requires conducting patrols, maintaining a visible presence, assisting customers, and reporting observations with professionalism.

The position is full-time with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions, and a background check and drug screen are mandated. Benefits and growth opportunities available.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents calmly, following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Assist with access control and visitor interactions to deter unauthorized activity.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist customers and staff, and communicate observations professionally. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. • Thur 11:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Sun 11:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, associates, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and security-related incidents to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
