Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Patrol in Saint Louis, MO. This part-time role offers reliable hours at a designated site with the chance to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform.

You will provide customer service to employees and visitors, monitor access, respond to alarms, and perform regular patrols. Pay is $23.10 per hour with a fixed shift and the option to earn more through additional shifts

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A background check will be conducted as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency responses.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials as directed, maintaining documentation.
• Maintain professional presence and communicate with site personnel and public-service personnel.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Patrol in Saint Louis, MO, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate:

$23.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Wed 08:45 AM - 05:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or property concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Maintain a professional presence while communicating with site personnel, visitors, and responding public-service personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
