Job summary

Allied Universal in Nashville, TN is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Security Presence to safeguard government locations. You will provide customer service, maintain a visible presence, and respond professionally to site needs.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, perform routine patrols, monitor access, report incidents, and work with a team that values integrity and teamwork. This Full Time role pays $19.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Licensing requirements may be required; valid driver’s license for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally per post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff information per Allied Universal and site requirements.

As a Security Officer Patrol Security Presence in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. You will provide outstanding customer service, clear communication, and reliable support while working with a team that values agility, innovation, caring for people, teamwork, and integrity.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verify credentials as directed, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff information in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
