Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and government facility personnel by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access-control concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, grounds, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access, and maintain logs and reports.
• Deter unauthorized activity through professional presence and timely reporting.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 07:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Tue 07:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Wed 07:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and government facility personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or public agencies as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned government facility areas, grounds, parking locations, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and required documentation.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence, observation, and timely reporting of security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
