Qualifications

• 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience, or a college degree.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, occupants, and government personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of government facilities, interiors, exteriors, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify credentials as directed by site procedures, maintaining visitor and incident records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report to site leadership per escalation procedures.
• Maintain a professional presence and support a controlled environment for government operations.

As a Security Officer Patrol Route Assessment in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, occupants, and/or government personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of government facility interiors, exterior areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and follow established escalation procedures.
• Maintain a professional presence while supporting a controlled environment for government operations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
