As a Security Officer Patrol Rover in Clarksville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology data center location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will contribute to a welcoming, professional environment while supporting access control and site procedures. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.71 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a technology data center by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and documentation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the data center campus, business areas, perimeter, parking locations, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
