Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Reporting in Clarksville, TN, to safeguard a technology data center and its personnel. This unarmed role emphasizes customer service, incident response, and routine security patrols across the campus.

You will monitor access, verify credentials, log visitors, and support a safe, compliant environment while maintaining professional communication with site staff and leadership. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors at a technology data center by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access-related discrepancies according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and documenting activities accurately.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the data center campus, including building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, equipment issues, policy violations, and potential hazards while maintaining professional communication with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
