Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Guard in Clarksville, TN to protect clients at a data center location. You will monitor access, patrol facilities, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

Minimum requirements include 2+ years of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen. This is a full-time daytime shift with opportunities for growth within the company.

As a Security Guard Unarmed Foot Patrol in Clarksville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a leading technology data center location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will contribute to a caring, team-oriented culture while demonstrating integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation in protecting critical operations.

Pay Rate: $19.71 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security‑related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a data center location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of data center buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization in accordance with site requirements, assisting with visitor, contractor, and delivery access procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
