Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Operations Driver in Peoria, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and represent Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of manufacturing areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and maintain visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity through required reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
