Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Route Driver in Peoria, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeWed02:30 PM - 10:30 PMSun02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial utilities location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, equipment areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access activity and verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
