Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time unarmed patrol role in Bellevue, WA. You will provide excellent customer service, conduct patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with a calm, professional approach.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• A drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter spaces.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observed conditions accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour

• Mon: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Tue: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Wed: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Thur: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Sun: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
