Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and the public while following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and disturbances in a calm, professional manner and follow reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization, and assist visitors and delivery personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security activities per Allied Universal procedures.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.74 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government-operated utility location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify authorization as directed, and provide directions and assistance to visitors and delivery personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
