Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Bellevue, WA. You will monitor and patrol retail locations, assist with access control, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible deterrent and reporting incidents.

This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license and a HS diploma or GED. The position offers a competitive hourly rate and a schedule from Monday to Friday mornings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license required per policy.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to store customers, employees, and visitors while following site procedures and security protocols.
• Respond to incidents and concerns calmly, escalating as needed per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor entrances and exits to deter theft and unauthorized access.
• Document observations and actions in line with Allied Universal reporting requirements.

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Bellevue, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a driving unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and team members, and use technology to document security-related activity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to store customers, employees, and/or visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to help deter theft, unauthorized access, and disruptive behavior.
• Document observations, incidents, and actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
