As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will patrol retail and mall locations, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to visitors, tenants, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, parking facilities, building entrances, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe the location for unusual activity, reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership, property management, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
