Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed Driver Patrol) in Irvine, CA. You will perform routine patrols of residential buildings, monitor access points, and respond to security concerns while providing excellent customer service to residents and staff.

Position is full-time with a late-evening schedule; pay is $22.25 per hour. A valid driver’s license and minimum security experience are required, with guard card and CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: valid driver’s license; at least six months of security-related experience; guard card/license preferred; CPR and First Aid preferred; 18+ for unarmed roles (21+ for armed); high school diploma; background check; drug screen; licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergency situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter; report hazards or maintenance issues.

• Prepare clear incident and activity reports and communicate findings to management.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol Inspections in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Security Officer in a residential apartment community, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service to residents and visitors. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and resident activity in accordance with site‑specific procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to property management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
