Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver - Day Shift in Eugene, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a driving Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, helping to maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine vehicle patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of technology and telecommunications facility areas, including the building exterior, perimeter, access points, and parking areas.
• Monitor access activity and report suspicious conditions, unauthorized persons, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
