Allied Universal in Eugene, Oregon is seeking a Security Officer - Driver for the graveyard shift. This full-time role requires patrolling, monitoring access, and delivering high‑quality customer service at a technology, media, and telecommunications site.

You will drive as needed, maintain logs, follow incident procedures, and report observations to site leadership. The position offers a $22.00 per hour pay rate and the chance to grow with North America's leading security and facility services

Job Description

As a Security Officer - Driver - Graveyard Shiftin Eugene, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a driving Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report observations. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, access points, and designated areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor visitor, employee, and contractor access in accordance with site-specific requirements; verify credentials and maintain accurate activity logs as assigned.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management through required reports and documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
