Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the site, perimeter, access points, and designated areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access for visitors, employees, and contractors; verify credentials and maintain logs as assigned.
• Communicate observations and maintenance needs to site leadership and management through reports.

As a Security Officer - Driver - Graveyard Shift in Eugene, OR , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a driving Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report observations. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, access points, and designated areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor visitor, employee, and contractor access in accordance with site-specific requirements; verify credentials and maintain accurate activity logs as assigned.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management through required reports and documentation.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
