Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Mobile Driver in Eugene, OR. You will patrol and safeguard a technology, media, and telecommunications location, maintaining a visible presence and delivering excellent customer service. Pay rate is $22.00 per hour with a flexible, part-time schedule. This driving post requires driving responsibilities, adherence to site policies, and the ability to work different shifts.

Qualifications

• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and service requests calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and monitor access points.
• Verify credentials and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious activity.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, building access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts, suspicious activity, and security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
