Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Customer Service in Ashburn, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology and media location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology and media location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor access in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Support a professional, welcoming environment while remaining alert to unusual activity, policy violations, and potential hazards.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Preferred ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
