As a Part-Time Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Ashburn, VA, you’ll provide customer service, deter incidents, and maintain a visible security presence on a tech/telecom site.

Responsibilities include conducting patrols, monitoring access, and reporting incidents.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Security Professional Guard Card preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds or more.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist with access control, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.11 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
