Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a tech/media location following site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor authorization; document incidents and patrols.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.11 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology and media location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed, and maintain accurate incident, patrol, and shift documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, guests, and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a welcoming and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
