Job summary

Allied Universal® in Wilmer, TX is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver to protect clients across tech/telecom environments. This full-time position requires patrolling by vehicle and on foot, delivering excellent customer service, and adhering to site policies. A valid driver's license is required; CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Background checks and a drug screen apply. 18+ years old (21+ for armed roles) with a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Wilmer, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Deliver outstanding customer service while communicating clearly and supporting a caring, agile, reliable, innovative team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior workspaces, exterior areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual conditions, report observations promptly, and document incidents and patrol activity according to site procedures.
• Assist employees, visitors, and vendors with access directions and site protocols while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
