Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years old for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology, media, and telecommunications facilities, including buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting unusual conditions, incidents, and hazards according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and communicate with appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, patrol records, and incident reports in accordance with company and site requirements.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Scott, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
