Allied Universal in Crown Point, IN is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed Patrol Driver). You will patrol facilities, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible presence at a technology-focused site.

The position requires a valid driver's license and a high school diploma or equivalent, with background checks and drug screening as part of employment. Schedule is Thu–Sun, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM; pay is $17.75 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and escalate issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with badge and entry procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding patrol findings, incidents, and operational concerns.

Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Crown Point, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
