Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Vehicle Patrol Driver in Clarksville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Help maintain a professional presence at the location and communicate observations, concerns, and shift information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
